Sub-Committee for RMG
On 10 May 2023, the EIS-Pilot GB constituted a tripartite sub-committee for quick decision-making regarding EIS cases and the approval process. The sub-committee is constituted of representatives from the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the Central Fund, the Department of Labour, the employers’ associations, and workers’ associations. Additionally, officials from ILO and GIZ and members from the EIS Special Unit participate in the EIS Sub-Committee meeting. The sub-committee reviews the cases based on the presented information and requisite eligibility criteria and approves the beneficiaries of the endorsed cases for compensation. The formation of the Board is as follows:
